One laughter-track mind. | |

Jason Alexander has a special place in DAVID's heart. Best known as George Costanza in 'Seinfeld', he played the dad in 'Dunston Checks In', where an orangutan turns a five-star hotel into a three-ring circus. We like to think Uber Eats are also closet fans. This 60" spot takes its cues from sitcoms, however, as a desperate Alexander harnesses the power of literal canned laughter. Once opened, even a weak-ass joke like "No prob-llama!" gets the desired response. The only problem is that it works too well. No matter how earnest or serious he is, the 'crowd' go nuts. Therefore, compliments become insults, sincerity sounds like sarcasm, and a eulogy goes south quicker than you can say, "He was a good man." When the laughter stops at last, a humble Alexander is content to order regular canned goods with the advertised delivery app.
