Uber
'Andre Agassi'
24 January 2024 30s
Mullet with your name on it.
by Andrew MacGregor

This Uber One commercial suggests that the mullet is back, but… did it ever go away? Look at Jack Goodhue, Ellis Genge, Jai Arrow, and Cameron Smith, to name but a few. The joke here is that four-time Australian Open singles champion and former mullet-teer Andre Agass now regrets his decision to go bald in 1995.

Everyone in the Rod Laver Arena sports the "decadent Western haircut" that is still illegal in Iran, as far as we know. Men, women, children, dogs… poor Andre stands out like a sore, clean-shaven thumb.

He consoles himself with an Uber One membership that saves him money on both taxis and food, but—unlike his fellow spectators—Agassi must apply sunscreen to his neck. You win some, you lose some, eh?
