A tough journey.
by Jason Stone

This moving film by director Rodrigo García Sáiz pays tribute to those who have died trying to cross the border from Mexico to the USA. It does so with a refreshing lack of apology which will be discomforting to those planning to vote to the convicted felon with a history of issuing racist Executive Orders when in the White House.

The journey of these intrepid migrants is frequently depicted in television and film dramas, so this is a familiar landscape for many of us, and – in fairness – many of those depictions are broadly sympathetic. It's rare though to see colours nailed to the mast with as much determination as in this poignant piece of work.
