Tesco Mobile
'Pavement Pounders'
21 April 2024 40s
Run out of patience.
by Andrew MacGregor

When office dynamo Gina starts 'Pavement Pounders' ('Baby Got Track' is taken onboard then thrown overboard in no time), it pushes one colleague to his limit… and not in a good way. The group chat is full of endurance runner Gina's updates from Portugal and Colin's 5k prowess, but Kam chooses to keep quiet about his, erm, new sofa. It's all a bit 'Apple Underdogs... but let's call it a homage.

He wants to know how Gina can afford to post photos, videos, and mottos like "Le grind never stops" overseas. The bloke vents his spleen to a Tesco Mobile employee, who tells him there are no EU roaming fees in 2024. Gina may be in a different league as far as exercise is concerned, but Kam can still keep up with savings.

The network provider also show Kam to mute the chat, which is preferable to death by a thousand notifications. Maybe he can just cheer on his colleagues from that new sofa of his.
