Keep karma and carry on.
by Andrew MacGregor

This Strong Roots commercial proposes that karma is a two-person job. A brace of technicians (karma cops, if you will) keep track of what everyone in the world gets up to—if a man talks in the cinema or a frazzled mum flips the bird at her son with his back turned, they are on the case. It says a lot about the state of the world when they dole out more bad karma than good.

Before the bad pile gets too out of control, they notice someone with a bag of Strong Roots crispy skinny fries. This spares him one of the many proportionate punishments Mark and his protégé have come up with, like a fishy stench in the car for a week or a strange rash for a month. As much as they enjoy this part of the job, they'd rather reward behaviour that helps the planet.
