This short film from emerging director Michael Petruzzelli is a passion project with heart. Set to Sega Bodega’s track ‘Um Um’, it takes place in a group therapy session, and is an earnest expression of processing grief, using dance as the language of the soul. It has parallels to the Academy-produced ‘Something About You’ Elderbrook x Rudimental promo, but with more fluidity in the cinematography. The camera finds the balance in becoming part of the dance, yet still capturing the emotive essence of the choreography. It’s always a joy to see young creatives picking up the tools and making their own opportunities.
