DAVID signed off his review of the Queensberry vs Matchroom promo with a nod to Guy Ritchie. A few months later, Riyadh Season present a film directed by—you guessed it—Guy Ritchie! Our cheque from the Public Investment Fund should arrive any day now. In the meantime, we have a plug for Anthony Joshua versus Daniel Dubois to chew over. Somehow, this bloody, gnarly film leaves a sweet taste in the mouth, but that might be down to the soundtrack: 'Sweet Caroline' by Neil Diamond. The song never got a music video back in the day, but this might do the trick. Sure, Joshua loses a lot of blood, Dubois gets electrocuted in a bathtub, Tyler Denny gets necklaced (a tyre is forced over his shoulders and set alight), et cetera, but it will take a lot more than gangland violence to keep these men down. They come back to life like men on a mission, or men who know what kind of day awaits on September 21st.
