Purple Disco Machine
'Honey Boy'
24 May 2024 3 mins 52s

DAVID always wanted a sequel to 'The Greasy Strangler', the greasiest film of 2016. Eight years later, Big Ronnie and Big Brayden are still MIA, but Purple Disco Machine have thrown us a lifeline with 'Honey Boy', a tie-up with Benjamin Ingrosso, Nile Rodgers, and Shenseea.

The promo, courtesy of Alice Fassi, feels like a left-field Rowse commercial, as a bloke (Loïs Schlieper) more honey than human goes about his daily life. The local record shop owner may not like him—sticky fingers and all that—but he scores a date with music fan Lily (Kauda Pharoan). The question is: does he stick or twist?

If he wants to knock her socks off, he needs to shed all that congealed honey as soon as possible. Inspired by a poster of Arnold Schwazenneger in his 'Pumping Iron' days, he transforms into Golden Boy (Benjamin Ingrosso). We know who kinky types with a sweet tooth would prefer.
