So near and yet so far. | |

Almost ten years after Primark broke into the US market, we have a campaign to chew over at last. Scored by Nancy Wilson's 1964 hit '(You Don't Know) How Glad I Am', this commercial is all about that look—the look of love, of course. At first it looks like two women are head over heels for each other, but the reality is more, erm, transparent. With the city lights in the background, the pair look ready to smooch up a storm… until they both collide with the camera. Turns out the two are right up against the windows of a local Primark, cheek to glass cheek. The savvy cast seem happy to wait until morning (much to the chagrin of the window cleaner, no doubt).
