Owl of protest.
by Jason Stone

Following the success of their brilliant badger-based commercial for Gas Networks Ireland, Antidote Films in Dublin appear intent on establishing themselves as woodland animal specialists! In this delightful execution by director Chris Balmond, a fox and an owl have a one-way conversation about the programming that appears on the television screen of someone using the advertised service.

In a variation of an old joke involving a man and his claim about the ability of his dog to speak, the owl appears only to use traditional owl-like noises to hold up his end of their chat. But, he proves rather more eloquent than that. A combination of engaging voiceover work, and excellent VFX (from Freefolk) has created a piece of advertising that is highly engaging.
