DAVID was relieved to learn that 'Fly' by Mura Musa is not about houseflies, bluebottles, or fruit flies. He's been at war with the bastards for weeks, and a song would only make matters worse. Instead, the producer named after a Japanese sword maker has made a track about dance music at its most transcendent. "Don't wanna come down/Just let me fly" may not be the deepest lyrics by any stretch of the imagination, but they capture the innate desire of clubbers to escape. 'Fly' is EDM that gets straight to the point and repeats it as much as possible. Promo directors Will and Ed Reid let the music build a head of steam before bodies fill the screen. When they do, Mura Masa and his decks disappear, and one dancer ascends like their faith has been rewarded.
