The luxuriously nostalgic act of popping out to pick up the paper is turned into a full-scale outing for M&S. Autumnal West London streets become a runway for the ad’s hero and her pack of poodles, as she quite literally glides down the pavement to the dulcet tones of DJ Snake & Lil Jon. The agency and CANADA’s co-founder, director Lope Serrano, have captured the brand to a tee (though being a sweater weather campaign, there’s not a t-shirt in sight). They’ve brought a high fashion feel to the work for the high street brand, who seem eager to elevate their rank in the fashion world, yet not take themselves too seriously and maintain a sense of humour.
