You smell dead gorgeous.
by Jason Stone

How far will Lynx go to promote Blue Lavender body spray? This is how far they will go. When the first line is, "Maintaining respect and dignity at funerals is the prime objective," you know it's time to strap in. While it's good to see some edgy work for this brand, it's a shame the execution doesn't do it justice.

Mourners can't help but smell the young man in the coffin, much to the funeral director's chagrin. One woman even climbs into the casket, happy to be buried alive if it comes to it. When that idea's nixed, she resorts to plan B: steal the coffin with the body inside.

It's intentionally chaotic but it feels too frenetic, and when a conceit pushes hard at boundaries of taste, it needs to be a great deal more charming and funny than this.

Product Category: Deodorants / Anti-Perspirants

Territory: UK
