Kingsford
'King of the Grill'

Charcoal in it to win it.
by Andrew MacGregor

A man called Vince Wilfork was meant to star in a commercial for charcoal briquettes. Former nose tackle for the New England Patriots and the Houston Texans (they could have tried harder with that one), Wilfork retired in 2017 to take on a new challenge: make ribs the official food of 'Merica.

He recruits ex-Philadelphia Eagles centre Jason Kelce on behalf of Kingsford, who like to keep tabs on recent NFL retirees. Initially confused as to why Wilfork’s in his back garden, Kelce soon gets up to speed and dons a personalised apron. What follows may break some viewers' cringe–o-meters.

As former gridiron stars, the two must dance in front of the grill. Wilfork then cradles a bag of charcoal briquettes in his arms ("You like that? You like that?"), which is all kinds of wrong. After ninety odd seconds, DAVID's happy to leave Wilfork and Kelce to it. Damn, that meat looks good though.
