Hair-brained scheme.

It's a gosh darn mullet jamboree at the moment. It started in the Rod Laver Arena with Uber One, and continues in the American wilderness with Kawasaki, makers of bikes, scooters, and off-road/utility vehicles. When two men jump into a Ridge buggy and fire it up, they each get a neck warmer or a Tennessee top hat.

The mullet is even more contagious than we expected, as a bear, a turtle, and a bald eagle get short hair on the sides and top with length in the back. Does this count as animal cruelty? Maybe, but we'll give directors Christopher Gruse and Dave Laden the benefit of the doubt on this occasion.

One more creature gets the mullet treatment: the Texas Rattlesnake, otherwise known as 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin. The former WWE wrestler says, "Thanks, fellas!" when he gets his new locks, which should tickle fans of the Attitude Era.

The buggy's design even lends itself to the mullet's 'business in the front, party in the back' label. Whichever brand tackles the mullet next has their work, ahem, cut out for them.
