'Beyond: Dreams'
19 January 2024 2 mins 30s
The Paris Masters.
by Andrew MacGregor

This is an extended version of the Jordan 'Beyond' ad we brought you in November. It's more of a slow-burn this time round, but now with added J Ivy. The poet greets us with a poser: "When you wake up, do you remember your dreams?" Feel free to stroke your chin at this point, or consult the dream journal you got for Christmas.

If we remember our dreams, do we believe in them? The next generation of basketball players must believe in theirs, as they "have to be fearless to step on life's stages". Those up for the challenge pore into a bank in central Paris, where a makeshift court has been set up.

The only thing more impressive than slam dunks and alley-oops is the noise that greets Michael Jordan himself. When the silhouette that graces your Air Jordan shoes walks out to see what you're made of, you're bound to lose your shit for a few moments! A super blend of young blood, directorial craftsmanship, and star power.
