'Where is my Mind?' by The Pixies provides musical influence for this ribald two-hander from Jessie Reyez and Lil Wayne exploring the complicated nature of sexual mores in 2024. The pair exchange profane expressions of desire including: "Since love always hurt me baby / Imma need you to choke me" from Reyez, and Lil Wayne volleys back a series of promises including: "Legs like a twizzler / One leg west side, one leg east side / Two fingers in her pussy / Make her fuck my peace sign". Who says romance is dead!? As a counterweight to the lyrics' 'nasty' vibe, director RELTA has pulled together a playful video. Yes, it's sexy but it possesses an witty archness too, and there are a couple of moments that look like outtakes, because the two artists look like they're having a right laugh. The low-fi VFX sequences which have Reyez floating against the Toronto skyline adds to the sense of fun, and adds to the way this promo successfully lightens the tone of the track.
