Oui are ready.
by Andrew MacGregor

This is Henry Hobson's cut of the [HBO] Max commercial we brought you the other day. All the protagonist wants to do is go for a run in central Paris, but the sports set to feature at the 2024 Olympics have other ideas.

First he must escape a horde of runners that block his way like zombies on a health kick; then he comes face to face with a police horse that encourages him to watch dressage. The more he uses the advertised app, the more competitive the host city becomes.

Though we recommend elite swimmers stay out of the River Seine (leave it to the French sports minister), athletes should make a beeline for the Stade De France. Soundwaves of encouragement are powerful enough to propel a sprinter to the finish line in a relay race, while a pole vaulter gets to execute her jump in a peaceful black void.

As for the Olympic-sized rabbit hole that awaits viewers this summer, the brand promise to "stream every moment" of Paris 2024. Good luck to anyone who tries to 100% the Games!
