It's a question that's plagued mankind since 1993: "What is love?" Over thirty years after Haddaway’s debut single, Fred Again and Soak have some thoughts on the matter. Spoken rather than sung, Soak's lyrics are sweet ("It felt like all four seasons happened in one day") and savoury ("The first crunch of Tayto cheese and onion crisps"). You never know—that might net them a free shipment. Overseen by LOOSE, then shot in a one-bed flat by Fred Again and Soak, the promo has the song come together in fits and starts. You sense this is the first time Bridie Monds-Watson has felt this way before, and their enthusiasm proves infectious for the record producer. He looks like a man possessed as he composes the house track.
