Ezra Collective
'God Gave Me Feet for Dancing (ft. Yazmin Lacey)'
20 June 2024 4 mins 11s

Ezra Collective love to bop. The 2023 Mercury Prize winners' third album is called 'Dance, No One's Watching', but fans must wait until 27 September 2024 to get the party started. In the meantime, we have 'God Gave Me Feet for Dancing', a tie-up with soul-jazz singer Yazmin Lacey.

If viewers need some pointers, director Tajana Tokyo has just the promo. Her two leads, Kikz Katika and Michele Zan, also choreograph the video, so we’re in safe hands from start to finish. When the spotlight shines on them, the streets of Romford become a dancefloor just for them.

Not only does the beam accentuate Katika and Zan's effervescent moves (they also smile like they know this is the night), but it also makes world a stage—even just for a minutes. If fans want to be at the centre of it, Ezra Collective will provide the music at the drop of a hat.
