Currys
'No Distractions x Hisense Mini-LED TV'
9 May 2024 30s
Football focus.
by Andrew MacGregor

With the European Championships on the horizon, Currys have a dilemma: how do they show games in-store without staff getting distracted? The solution has more than a whiff of Arsene Wenger about it, as staff are given blindfolds with eyes printed on them. This might also explain why VAR has gone to pot in recent months.

Despite the impediment, the protagonist gets a father and son on board with a Hisense mini-LED TV. Dad says "the football looks phenomenal", to which the salesman replies: "What football?" The exchange of nervous and manic laughter that follows is superb, but we hope our man gets the help he needs after the Euros.
