Olympic appetite.

Tom Daley, Alfie Hewett, and Katarina Johnson-Thompson best get a move on if they want to make the Paris 2024 Olympics. "But DAVID," we hear you cry, "they are in Paris, that's the Eiffel Tower behind them, right?" Close, but no croissant—it's the Crystal Palace transmitter in South London.

The real action takes place in a house crammed with Team GB/ParalympicsGB fans. Competition for room on the sofa is fierce, and you need to be quick to beat Ellie Simmonds. She may have retired in 2021, but she still has a ruthless streak that commentators Steve and Jenny love.

Disaster strikes when the power goes out before all the food's cooked. Star power is not enough to solve the problem, so it's up to a British Gas engineer to save the day. In an Olympic year, not all heroes wear medals around their necks.

As we leave Steve and Jenny in the commentary booth (or the garden shed, as it's commonly known), the brand insist they are "powering home fans" this summer. Truth to be told, DAVID thought this meant they would only power desk, ceiling, and tower fans from now on.
