Lets Walken and talk.
by Andrew MacGregor

Every impressionist worth their salt has Christopher Walken in their repertoire. The man himself stars in BMW’s 2024 Super Bowl ad, where everyone he meets has a stab at him. Whether it's a valet, a barista, a tailor, or Ashley Park ('Beef', 'Only Murders in the Building'), the cast stretch the idea that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery to its limits.

Characters like Vincenzo Coccotti, Frank White, Max Zorin, or Gabriel would never take it on the chin like Walken does, and what a good sport the octogenarian is. There's just no escape from his own voice, but he does manage to shut down Usher with a prickly "Don't you got somewhere to be?"

This strange interaction with the R&B singer feels like a good time to wrap things up, so BMW declare: "There's only one Christopher Walken, and only one ultimate driving machine." The logical next step would be for Walken to voice the 5 Series/i5 on-board computer.
