Proper preparation prevents piss-poor performance, as the old saying goes, and The Fork take that very seriously in this entertaining ad. The restaurant booking app acknowledge that sure, diners can be spontaneous about when and where they get a meal... but why would they, when there are better options available? The risks are illustrated in amusing fashion by director Frank Atlantic, who compares the prospect of a crappy dinner to life's other avoidable foibles. You wouldn't book a skiing holiday in the middle of summer, for example, or take out a mortgage on a highly haunted house. A particularly topical example provides a cheeky nod to the current twittering within the tech and creative worlds about the risks of AI. While booking dinner at the wrong eatery won't lead you to become a coffee table for your forthcoming robot overlords... The Fork argue that it's probably better not to chance it.
