Suntory whisky celebrates a century of business in this intriguing short film. Directed by Sofia Coppola, the piece features Keanu Reeves heading to a trendy bar with friends. He enjoys a tipple of the advertised beverage before a montage of the brand's imagery throughout the years kicks in - flitting through past commercials, distillery footage, and other such interesting visual morsels. A grungy soundtrack brings an edgy dimension to proceedings, increasing the film's sense of nostalgia and drawing the viewer deeper into the rapid-fire visuals from days gone by. The music also playfully references the timing of Reeves' last appearance for the brand: in a 1992 ad campaign at the height of the riff crunching, shoe-gazing genre's popularity.
