Smartsheet, one of McLaren's Formula One sponsors, ditch their logo for a good cause in this short documentary. As part of their Sponsor X campaign, the software brand let charities and non-profit organisations appear on the car instead—in this case, The Hidden Genius Project. Based in Oakland, California, the organisation help Black youth explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics at their own pace, to the shock of students like Hesten Parrish ("My first impressions of the programme were, "This cannot be real—this cannot be real"). Bo Platt's film shows The Hidden Genius Project are the genuine article and deserve their spot in the limelight. As Formula One explore ways to improve diversity in the sport, ads like this underline the potential out there.
