Airlines love philosophical musings about travel, and Singapore Airlines are no exception. We'd love it if passengers had to answer questions like, "What makes us who we are if not the way we experience the world?" before they were let on the plane. Yet there's more to this 90" commercial than airy-fairy copy. Director Liz Murphy takes viewers to New Zealand, Spain, India, China, and Singapore in a tasteful montage inspired by one cabin member’s travels. Chatty, adventurous, and eager to learn, she absorbs as much as possible before each flight. The airline reckon local knowledge and customer service make them stand out in a crowded market. Their recent decision to let pregnant flight attendants to keep working also suggests a brand in tune with the modern world at long last.
