Guy (Lucas Jones) and Girl (Kasey Grigsby) are in love. Mad love. The kind of love that makes people say "The sun has been shining since the day I met you" and "I want to devour every inch of you". At first, Imogen Harrison's short film bristles with the excitement of young love, only for doubt and resentment to take hold. Harrison, who you can read more about here, captures the toll that love takes on a couple who once burned so bright, then felt the darkness creep in. Glasses are smashed, backs are turned, and the dialogue turns wistful, hateful, and other gloomy words than end in -ful. It may not be festive, but it is heartfelt.
