Rise and Fall
'Survival of the Fittest'
13 March 2023 40s
Triangle of Madness
by Jason Stone

After the success of 'Traitors' on the BBC, Channel 4 appear to be throwing their distinctive hat into the ring with a new show that, to judge from the trailer, is cut from the same cloth. The trailer sits within a fine tradition of work from DAVID's favourite broadcaster with a sense of Regency chaos emerging from the depiction of slapstick violence.

Director Matthew Walker provides a promising sense of fun, and, on the basis of this promo, surely a lot of people will decide to give it a go.

Like a lot of this kind of programming, the show itself will probably be like one of those psychology experiments devised by psychopathic academics at Stanford University designed to discover just how cruel human being can be. (Actually, given modern appetites, they should probably reflect that description in the trailer.)
