Peroni encourage drinkers to bring the party to them in this tongue in cheek commercial. The piece opens on a familiar scene, featuring bright young things lounging in the sunshine with a bottle of the advertised tipple. That is, until the sun abruptly turns off. The action will be relatable to a British audience, who know our occasional week of summer sunshine is on a strict countdown until the country's dark and wet natural state returns. At least when things inevitably get overcast again, the film suggests, there's always a heat lamp available to approximate a spot of sunshine. A bemused waiter adds an extra layer of comedy to proceedings, as do funny looks from the other patrons braving the chill at this open-air bar. A timely pigeon incursion into the shot rounds things off nicely, ensuring we never forget where the action takes place.
