'I Wish I Was a Little Bit Smaller'

Some basketball players would kill to be seven-feet-one like Shaquille O'Neal. This Pepsi commercial—the first collaboration between the two since the nineties—argues that the high life is not all it's cracked up to be.

When the NBA legend hits his head off a bird feeder, he says: "I wish I was a little bit smaller." We reckon Zoltar would be able to help with that, but, in the meantime, we get a fun montage that gives O'Neal a massive height disadvantage.

He's too big for his own bed, ditto the window seat on an airplane. Group photographs are a constant nightmare, and even his personal chef fails to grasp what size burger is appropriate for a man of O'Neal's stature.

It's low-hanging fruit, so to speak, but O'Neal's looks to camera and quiet desperation (apart from when he, erm, raps) are a real treat. Meanwhile, a more competent rapper/narrator delivers gems like, "I'd be a billionaire, if I had a dime every time I heard, "How’s the weather up there?"
