DAVID visited a coffee shop the other day that still had cobwebs on the lights for Halloween. At least, he hopes they were for Halloween. Either way, those still in a trick or treat mood will appreciate this trio of Party City ads from director and hidden camera maestro Sam Cadman. 'Contagion' harks back to the pre-pandemic days with hospital patients under attack from the infected, while 'Hellevator' takes that awkward moment when you arrive at the wrong floor and runs with it. Last but not least is 'Scopaesthesia', which reminds house visitors that all bets are off before they get inside. Here, the pièce de résistance is a giant pumpkin skeleton that emerges from the darkness at the side of the porch. Santa's in for a nasty surprise come December 25th.
