The Wonder years.
by Andrew MacGregor

Jamie Rafn deserves to be immortalised in ‘Super Smash Bros.’ at this rate. The man has directed several commercials for Nintendo over the years, so the least he deserves is a chance to knock Mario, Princess Peach, Donkey Kong, Samus, et al. into next year.

While the developer-slash-publishers decide what Final Smash would suit Rafn (we suggest a film camera to the face), he delivers this sixty-second plug for 'Super Mario Bros. Wonder', a super-charged 2D platformer for the Nintendo Switch. The game has one girl hooked, but not her older sister. Yet.

In an ideal world, Nintendo would resolve all wars and end conflict with Elephant Mario. For now, it's good enough to bring two sisters, mum, and grandmother together on the sofa. Cue complaints from blokes who insist ads no longer feature men at all.
