Eurovision champions Måneskin have achieved something extremely rare with their budding musical career: translating an ESC win into actual commercial success. The band have been through trials during the past year - a lukewarm reception of their first English language album, an infidelity scandal on the part of singer Damiano David - but have come out the other side stronger and more musically confident.
This stripped back promo for 'Trastevere' (named after a neighbourhood in the band's native Rome) brings things back to basics, showcasing David's powerful and unique voice with minimal trappings. Accompanied by acoustic guitars and captured with an ever-shifting camera by director George Gallardo Kattah, it provides a visual and audible summary of what has given Måneskin the longevity that most of their Eurovision peers lack. Namely, talent.
