Australian rules cooking. | |

Warning - this Leggo's ad contains scenes that some Italians may find disturbing. The brand encourage viewers to bend or even break the rules of Italian cooking, whether that's putting cheese on fish, pineapple on pizza, or breaking pasta in half. Of course, this goes down like a lead garlic bulb in bel paese. An elderly woman screams red, white, and green murder when Parmesan and mussels collide; a man spits out his drink at the thought of ham and pineapple pizza; and a sculptor is haunted by split spaghetti. These reactions are complemented by some deft food photography—each act of culinary rebellion looks sharp and colourful, just to rub it in the old-school crowd's faces.
