It's a shame the minor key musings of 'Candy Necklace' are more stupefying than hypnotic, as even hardcore fans will struggle to maintain their concentration for the song's ten minute runtime (without credits). Flashes of BTS action aren't quite enough to sustain the fascination of casual viewers, despite Del Rey taking the time to verbally explain her creative concept halfway through. Perhaps this shot was included in an attempt to create some form of cohesion... who knows.
