If you don't find this film relatable then you're probably one of those extraordinarily extroverted people with a constant need for the validation of others. For the rest of us though, this is such a perfect representation of how we feel whenever we are faced with the need to commune with friends and family at this time of year. The preciousness of the solitary breather becomes so essential that visits to the bathroom become ever more frequent, and it can become vital to hand wash every item of crockery and cutlery until the kitchen is spotless and the party is over. Which is to say, IKEA, we hear you. This commercial is part of a trend this year depicting Christmas as an occasionally annoying time of year. It's been fun to see this perspective reflected by advertising, and DAVID hopes it's something that continues.
