Typical, eh? You wait ages for a promo set on the top deck of a bus and then two come along at once! As 'Whistle' by Calum Scott and Jax Jones pulls away, 'drunk text' by Henry Moodie replaces it. Both offer insights into passengers’ personal lives, but director Chris Fowles uses split-screen and the passage of time. TikTok star Moodie never moves from his seat as he yearns for the one that got away (his clothes change every so often at least), but the other cast members are more restless, keen as they are to find love, make friends, or—in the case of one bloke—start an affair. The split-screen effect allows Fowles expand and contract the story as he sees fit.
