Ready to go.
by Andrew MacGregor

The sofa's not an option in this lively Free Now commercial, as the company reveal their spin on a traditional zoetrope. Rather than settle for another night in front of the telly, the protagonist embarks on a stop-motion animated dash across town. Always helps when you have multiple forms of transport at your fingertips.

Whether it's a taxi, a private hire vehicle, an e-scooter, or an e-bike, each plays a role in her quest for kicks. Her parkour skills are not to be sniffed at either, as she hops, skips, and jumps through the city made by director Dean Robinson and the team at Electric Theatre Collective.

Plenty of detail has gone into each district, with graffiti artists, fairy lights crossed with traffic lights, and trees made of car air fresheners. The cities Free Now operate in may not be as imaginative as this, but the brand promise to help users reach the best distractions on offer.
