Emo isn't dead - at least, not according to this boisterous comeback single from pop-punk pioneers Fall Out Boy. While other major bands from the genre have changed up their tunes, been convicted of various crimes, or left music to hunt UFOs, the Chicago quartet are still going strong with the guitar-driven sound and deeply personal lyrics which landed them such a dedicated fanbase in the first place. The promo accompanying 'Love From The Other Side' is a whimsical affair, following the stop-motion exploits of a familiar band from a magical land. Pursued by laser-eyed wolves and taking refuge on the Island of Emo following a treacherous sea voyage, it's a self-aware nod to the listeners who still back the group to the hilt after all these years. This is a fun teaser for upcoming album 'So Much (for) Stardust's scheduled March release.
