Take me to church. | |

Back in 2007, Sony angered the Church of England when 'Resistance: Fall of Man', a big-budget first-person shooter, featured a level set in Manchester Cathedral. Years after that fateful shootout between humans and aliens, Blizzard Entertainment use the Chapelle des Jésuites in Cambrai, France to promote 'Diablo IV'. How devilish of them, eh? Though said church is deconsecrated, it's strange that Blizzard—a company with a worse reputation than Hell itself—would even consider it in the first place. After the poor response to 'Diablo: Immortal', the developer and publisher may feel they have nothing to lose. The ad itself is nice and foreboding, with portentous dialogue like, "Hatred has returned, and she will not relent until she has corrupted us all." This may sound like the ramblings of a sacked Blizzard employee, but it actually refers to main antagonist Lilith, Queen of the Succubi.
