A man flees across lush fields in this intriguing promo for Daniel Caesar's 'Let Me Go'. The Canadian singer-songwriter's soul-tinged vocals float over the song's gospel-influenced groove, as he relates wanting to leave a relationship he keeps getting sucked back into out of lingering compassion for a partner. "You're lying when you tell me that you won't be fine/ I'm not leading you on I'm leaving you behind." British actress Jessica Allain co-stars in the accompanying promo, which sees director Ramez Silyan focus on brightly coloured, hilly landscapes and almost endlessly vast expanses of clear sky. With freedom that close, it's galling to watch Allain coax her dogs to get Caesar's scent and track him down - with the final shots suggesting there's no true freedom from the romantic cycle in sight.
