Bulldog entice men into trying their products via a disembodied dog head in a fun new series of ads. This instalment sees a man discover the brand's bamboo-handled razor for the first time... the only problem is, it isn't in his bathroom.
The telepathic mascot's jovial tone gives the quirky film a down to earth vibe, making the brand feel relatable rather than aspirational. It's still an uphill battle to get men interested in skincare in 2023, and the friendly approach seems set to appeal to those who wouldn't usually consider such things.
A funny conclusion sees the main character flee the dinner party he's meant to be attending in order to treat himself to the advertised razor, adding an extra laugh to the action. This is eye-catching, aurally distinctive work which should speak to men who see skincare as more of a chore than self-care.
