British summers are rarely anything to write home about - either they're cold, wet, and dismal, or they're far too hot for a nation which loses its mind the moment the temperature hits twenty degrees. Boots leans into the idea that summers on this strange little island are always a bit disappointing in their latest commercial, encouraging viewers to make the most of the season in a responsible way. Nice moments of humour pepper the 30" spot, including a red-haired sunbather unexpectedly assaulted by protective cream and an Insta-famous wannabe who didn't factor in her allergies. The ever-moving camera brings a lovely sense of pace to the action, reminding us that no matter how anti-climactic such summer days may be... they pass very quickly, so we'd better be prepared to enjoy them as much as possible.
