Virtual influencer Lil Miquela, like Pinocchio before her, wants to become a real person. Instead of being obliged to form an understanding of the world from the other side of a digital device, she wants all of the visceral enjoyment and hazard of everything that lies beyond the screen. The stunning representation of an enhanced version of reality has been brilliantly put together by Rohtau - a VFX company whose owners are very keen to spread the gospel about the way they prioritise sustainability. It proves an excellent way of advertising an electric vehicle which, it has to be said, has been made to look far more attractive to petrolheads than we've come to expect from this sector! All in all, it's a beguiling piece of work and one that raises a lot of interesting questions about how it was made
