A waiting room full of people have their deepest secrets exposed in this amusing commercial from Apple. Highlighting the iPhone's Health app and its ability to add an extra layer of security to medical data, the characters will wish they'd known about it sooner when an omniscient voiceover begins sharing their business with all and sundry. Jane Lynch is a perfect cast for the power-tripping VO, who gleefully reveals each and every embarrassing health-related secret the characters are dealing with. Whether those are minor (such as not hitting a step-counter target) or an indication of something more serious (frequent urination in a middle aged man), they're all fair game without privacy protections. It's a fun way to remind viewers to be extra careful with their sensitive data, with director Craig Gillespie ensuring the action remains light and gently embarrassing rather than becoming too serious. Despite living in an increasingly connected world, there are some things which should remain between us and our doctor (and our properly protected smartphone).
