Forgot roadworks, car horns, and screaming children—the loudest thing people must endure is often the voice inside their head. Heinous rather than helpful, Ivano's voice reels off tasks and obligations 24/7: "I need to do my laundry, put away my laundry, call my grandmother", et cetera. He also needs to fill the three boxes that have somehow survived multiple moves.

These decorative crates are the last straw, prompting Ivano to pack his rucksack and escape the city. Yet as he travels deeper into the Swiss countryside, thoughts of bank accounts and dinner plans with Claudia persist. The cacophony only stops when he sees himself and those three wretched boxes.

Suddenly, Ivano is free to enjoy the splendour of rural Switzerland with a soundtrack of deep breaths and rippling water. Some people force the issue when on holiday—director Spencer MacDonald reminds us that it's OK to power down gradually.
