Solar Suit
by Syd Briscoe

With the cost of living crisis being what it is, the man in this ad for Perkier protein bars may have the right idea. The film opens with him standing in his back garden, wearing a suit entirely made out of solar panels as he attempts to "take on big oil" via his body. Whether his efforts are in aid of the planet or his pocket is unclear.

His partner is of course mortified by this, and tries to bribe him away from embarrassing her in front of the neighbours with one of the advertised snacks. Unfortunately, it's only when an inconveniently placed panel fails that the woman next door decides it's time to look away. This is cheeky work with a lovely sense of humour from director Jolyon White of 10 Days.
