American singer-songwriter Jawny (aka Jacob Lee-Nicholas Sullenger) takes to the streets in this kinetic promo for new track 'Adios'. The piece is filmed via drone, following the artist as he cruises around closed-off streets in a muscle car painted with orange and yellow flames that bombastic fried food icon Guy Fieri would be proud of. There's some interesting production design here, as a cloud of balloons floats into the sky while bearing the song's name in shaky spray paint. The central vehicle doing dicey doughnuts around a pair of pals is also guaranteed to appeal to those who grew up with the likes of Jackass as a cultural touchstone. A final sequence in which crashing into a fire hydrant cools the vehicle's flames into blue skies provides further narrative texture, suggesting that Jawny has hidden depths for curious listeners to explore. Kudos to director Spencer Ford for executing a simple concept in such a visually diverting and freewheeling fashion.
