This Thai spot aims to please every demographic and makes a damn good fist of it. Weir (or Sukollawat Kanaros, if you're not into the whole brevity thing) is Five Star Chicken's new spokesman, but that's as far as the brand have got. Luckily, the people of Bangkok have plenty of ideas for a commercial.

Their suggestions all manifest in an eight-minute film that doesn't outstay its welcome. As Weir sits at a table, he’s joined by a cast of magicians, hired goons, fake chickens, wizards-turned-princesses, and more. The customer's always right, so director Teerapol Suneta and his crew must outdo themselves.

Weir anchors the madness brilliantly with a smile on his face and a chicken drumstick in his hand. Even when the finished ad threatens to spin out of control, he never forgets the brand's core message: that good fried chicken unites almost everyone.
